Spanish Granite

In 2019 Stonetrade delivered 14,000 SF of custom-made Spanish granite cobblestones for the front plaza and two interior courtyards of the State Office Building in Hartford, CT.

The plaza and courtyards were designed by Landscape Architects Fuss & O’Neill, and feature a pixelated map of the Connecticut River Valley.   The water is made of dark blue-gray Azul Noche Granite, and the land is the lighter, silver-gray Azul Platino Granite.  Both stones were waterjet finished to give a strong color signature in a non-slip surface.  Installation was by Civitillo Masonry.
