Cut to Size Granite From Canada and Overseas
For commercial and larger residential projects
Granite is the gold standard for stone in exterior applications: hard, strong, and resistant to weather. It is available in many colors, not just the classic salt & pepper gray – from deep browns and blacks, to greens, golds, reds and even white.
Some of our most popular granites come from Canada, but we also source regularly in Brazil, China, India and Scandinavia.
For years, granite was too expensive to be an option for many projects, but new technologies and sources have brought granite into a comparable price bracket with other materials. Also granite will last for decades: so if the initial cost is amortized over time, granite often becomes the most cost effective option.
Stonetrade® matches the specific requirements of a project with the best granites and the capabilities of a number of different fabricators. For instance, one factory may specialize in shaped cubic work while another is better at inexpensive bulk paving. One factory might have exclusive access to a special color granite, while another offers water-jet cutting for complex shapes.
Our services include consultation during the design phase, sampling, budget pricing, and shop drawings and tickets.
Stonetrade® buys and sells for our own account: we do not generally work on commission. So we take full responsibility for the product and ensure customer satisfaction from beginning to end.
There are thousands of granite colors and many thicknesses and finishes are available: so we only offer granite on a special order basis. But we’d be happy to show you samples and discuss pricing, minimum order quantities and lead times for your project.
We do not offer granite for kitchen countertops – but if your inquiry is in southern New England, we can refer you to some excellent companies that do.
Here are some of the granite colors we can offer, although many more are available. Most granites are shown in flamed (thermal) finish, a rough texture ideal for non-slip exterior use.
